Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing invoices, recording sales activity into QuickBooks, sales tax, following up on outstanding receivables, recording payments and adjustments, prepare monthly internal sales reports
- Accounts Payable responsibilities
- Processing weekly payroll within Paycor payroll system, recording payroll entries in QuickBooks, processing new hires, updating Paycor with employee tax or pay rate changes, year-end W-2s and 1099s
- Track fixed asset additions, record depreciation
- Personal Property Tax and Returns
- Real Estate Tax
- Workers Compensation Claims
- Government Reporting
- Union Reporting
- Pension/401(k) Plan reporting/annual 5500 filing
- Some filings/scanning/clerical work
- Month-End Close Tasks
- Month-End Reconciliations
- Cost accounting/inventory tracking
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Desire for growth and additional job responsibilities
- This position requires 40 Hours a week in the office
