Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and analyze month end close procedures, including non-recurring journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with the review and supervision of the third-party accounting vendor
- Monitor and maintain control schedules, including the leases, prepaid, and fixed and intangible assets schedules
- Participate in the accounting transition and integration of newly acquired practices
- Assist with the integration of newly acquired employees into the payroll system
- Guide the regional office managers with A/P related activities
- Create and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls
- Assist with year-end audit
- Assist with annual budget and quarterly forecasts
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field required
- Public accounting or CPA highly preferred
- 0-3 years of progressively responsible accounting experience required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Technical accounting experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
