Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing and maintaining financial records including but not limited to general ledger entries, month-end financial statements, fixed assets, and fee reports.
- Entering/importing monthly journal entries including depreciation and payroll.
- Reconciling general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Documenting internal controls and recommending improvements as necessary.
- Assisting Accounting Manager in streamlining accounting processes through leveraging existing technology or outside services.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 4+ years’ general accounting experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize technology to streamline accounting processes and proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, ability to exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality.
