Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and enhances meaningful operational performance reports, scorecards, and metrics to manage daily activity and identify areas for cost and productivity improvements
  • Leads the development of financial and management reporting systems, dashboards, KPI’s, and analysis tools while partnering with operational and business leaders across the organization
  • Analyzes trends, risks, and opportunities, while creating efficient operational models and implementing solutions and opportunities for cost reductions and increased profitability
  • Assists in the development of the annual financial, capital, and operating budgets through close collaboration with operational and business leadership
  • Ensures the business and financial plans are in place to deliver on agreed targets, company objectives and initiatives
  • Supports all ad hoc analyses, areas of opportunity and projects, including pricing changes, other business model revisions, new marketing programs, new business verticals and ventures, discounts, incentive programs, etc.
  • Evaluates internal policies and procedures leading to recommendations and implementation of changes to improve efficiencies
  • Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the ERP platforms and processes, financial reporting, and general ledger structure
  • Drafts Board of Director, investor, and external party management presentations for ongoing purposes, including strategic options, M&A valuations, potential equity, and debt offering overviews, MD&A, offering or information memoranda

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience with complex financial modeling and analysis
  • Experience in project management with capital investments, expansions, and business transfers preferred
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and make sound business decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in data analysis
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to utilize multiple sources of information to determine solutions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to apply and continually develop technical skills
