RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • FP&A responsibilities including month end analysis, reporting and management communications, monthly forecasting, annual and long-term planning, and budgeting in addition to acquisition due diligence
  • Key Business Partner to accounting, operations, commercial, HR, and MIS as it relates to revenue generation or cost reduction identification and implementation, profitability analysis and improvement, assist with working capital management, identify and implement operational efficiencies, continuous improvement, process improvement and benchmarking initiatives, assist with defining and setting strategy, in addition to delivering top notch customer service internally and externally as the face of the finance organization
  • Preparation and review of corporate reporting and presentations
  • Assist with contract negotiations for customer, vendor, labor, warehouse, office space and natural gas contracts
  • Manage detailed and high-level financial analysis, not limited to financial modeling, what-if scenarios, capital and investment justifications, ROI analysis, and board and bank presentations
  • Administer standardization and best practice efforts for the organization (one consistent and standard way)
  • Partner with the Accounting group to understand key drivers of the financial statements, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate to drive change
  • Increasing ownership and rotations in month end close and accounting duties
  • Work with Management Information Systems (MIS) to streamline systems and business information
  • Special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s in accounting/finance required
  • CPA/MBA/MF preferred
  • 2 - 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Heavy Excel and MS Office application skillset required
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience in or ready for a fast paced, operations and manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable in a service-oriented culture
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
