Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight and execution of the Company’s accounting, reporting, and branch related activities.
- Month-end accounting close process
- Financial statement & analysis preparation for assigned branches
- Collaboration with accounting team and assigned branches
- Investor adjustment analysis
- Monitor branch accounting activities
- Audit expense reports
- Backup and support the senior compensation analyst
- Understanding of general ledger transactions
- Accounting practices and policies
- Ad-hoc & advanced report preparation
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Apply accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
- Provide input and complete projects as directed to assist with continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years or more of strong Accounting experience in a variety of areas including general bookkeeping, analytical analysis, financial reporting.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are needed along with a strong competence of comprehending systems and processes.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude are essential. Demonstrated experience with handling sensitive information.
- Familiarity and understanding of generally accepted accounting practices and principles, economic principles, applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Fast paced, high volume activities.
