  • Supervise accounts payable staff, including performance evaluations, training, mentoring, and assignment of work flow
  • Maintain current policies and procedures and administer changes where needed
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal customers
  • Manage all new software implementation as well as testing software upgrades before going live
  • Resolve problems and issues concerning the department
  • Process full cycle AP to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
  • Oversee and improve all electronic payments processes
  • Manage the 1099 process
  • Relay key issues and resolutions on a regular basis to Sr. Accounting Manager


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of seven years accounting experience with at least three of those in a supervisory capacity
  • Expert user of PeopleSoft AP 8.9 or higher module
  • Expert user of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of AP best practices and internal controls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective management style with the ability to mentor and resolve conflict appropriately
