Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of the GL; post entries, maintain chart of accounts, code transactions)
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Assist the Director of Finance with the timely completion of the monthly and annual close
  • Prepare company financial statements and reports
  • Perform financial statement review and account variance analysis
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Perform accounts payable processing
  • Maintain fixed asset records
  • Manage state and local use tax reporting, utilizing Avalara our sales tax reporting software
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in accounting
  • Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Office
  • Exposure to Quickbooks, Great Plains, or other ERP software
  • Superb organizational skills
  • Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing organization
